Licensed Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have field experience in both agricultural and residential electrical work, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The candidate should have exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license.

If hired, the applicant will report to our office location in WIlton, IA.

Prerequisite for employment: Complete and/or pass the ICC F16 Journeyman Exam on NEC 2014 guidelines or have an Iowa electrical license.

Licensed Electrician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Install, Repair, and Maintain electrical systems and equipment
• Use learned industry knowledge to offer solutions to various obstacles that may arise while on the job site.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Interact with the customer to validate that expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion.
• Assist Master Electrician with project implementation.
• Instruct apprentice's in proper electrical methods
• Operate all equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Understand and comply with NEC
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

• Must be proficient in running rigid conduit, terminating, and installing multiple types of panels

• Experience with DATA (Communications) is a plus but not required

• Assist crews on other projects that may have questions on installations.
