Estimated Weekly Salary
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2470 - $2540
- Location: Ottawa, IL 61350 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel RN contract)
- Unit: OBGYN / Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), every other weekend required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/15/2025)
- Bed Size: 14 beds (11 nursery beds)
- Orientation: 12 hours of paid education/orientation
- Active Illinois RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of recent OBGYN/OB nursing experience
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Ability to work every other weekend and 12-hour night shifts
- Compliance with drug-free campus policy and ability to pass a drug screen
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients with preeclampsia, manage Magnesium therapy, and support laboring mothers
- Provide post-partum care and newborn care, including delivery assistance as needed
- Utilize Obix central fetal monitoring and Epic (Stork) for charting and medication administration
- Follow AWONN staffing guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
- Participate in thorough orientation and ongoing clinical training
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital dress code (scrubs required)
