This opportunity involves working in an acute care setting with responsibilities involving telemetry monitoring, medication titration, and supporting cardio-thoracic patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry
- Monitor telemetry and interpret heart rhythms
- Titrate medications such as Cardizem and heparin
- Work within nurse-patient ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6
- Float to general medical units as required
- Collaborate with a 24/7 charge nurse and house supervisor team
Requirements of the RN - Telemetry
- Active IL RN License or application initiated
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Competency in EKG interpretation and basic nursing skills
