Accounts Payable Contractor
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare and execute payments, including checks, ACH transfers and wire transfers
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Manage vendor relationships, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
