Senior HR Generalist (Bilingual)
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, this person will build strong relationships with our clients' managers to help them with their human resource needs.
- Oversee full cycle of recruitment efforts
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts, and employee termination process
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate responsibility and volunteer programs
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
A bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in Business, with a Human Resources concentration, or as a Human Resources Generalist is required. Previous experience working with an HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now) is required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy, efficiently follow written and verbal instructions, provide information, and maintain effective relationships with staff, management, and outside contacts.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
PHR or SPHR certification is helpful.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
