OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Elgin, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD Trucking as a solo OTR CDL-A dry van driver operating from Elgin, IL to run national freight lanes. You'll average near 2,500 miles per week while receiving strong mileage pay starting at 65¢/mile and additional bonuses for safety and clean inspections.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Operate late-model dry van tractors (under 3 years) with APUs, inverters, and sleepers; secure and protect freight.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections, accurate log entries, and comply with DOT and company safety procedures.
• Maintain timely communication with dispatch for efficient deliveries.
