Inside Sales Representative

LaSalle Network is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for an established industry leader that provides specialized tools, equipment and technical support to electrical utilities, contractors, telecommunications providers and industrial customers nationwide.

This company combines more than 70 years of industry experience with a modern, service-driven approach. The Inside Sales Representative will join a team of product specialists who help customers solve complex equipment needs, strengthen operations and keep essential infrastructure projects moving.

No previous sales experience is required. We are looking for someone who is curious, dependable and ready to learn.

What’s the job?

• Support customers through inbound phone and email inquiries

• Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, quotes and account opportunities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers and key accounts

• Learn the company’s technical product portfolio

• Recommend new, related or alternative products

• Explain product features and help customers compare available options

• Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts

• Respond quickly and professionally to customer needs

• Maintain detailed notes and account information in the CRM

• Participate in product training and professional development

What’s needed?

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A proactive, self-directed work style

• Excellent organization and attention to detail

• Ability to manage several priorities at once

• Persistence when following up with customers

• Comfort learning technical information

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar business applications

• Ability to learn CRM software

• Ability to commute to Addison five days per week

• No prior sales experience required

Key Details:

• Compensation: $22-$25 an hour during the contract assignment; $70,000-$80,000 annual salary upon conversion, plus overtime eligibility for voluntary hours worked over 40 per week

• Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance offered during the contract period; health, dental and vision insurance and a 401(k) match available after conversion

• Location: Addison, Illinois 60101

• Work Model: Fully on-site

• Employment Type: Contract-to-hire, with potential conversion in six months or less
