We’re opening for lunch service Monday through Friday and seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join our team that are dedicated to delivering high-quality wine and food while providing friendly, efficient, and consistent excellent service. Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for delivering a high-quality dining experience by providing attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient service to guests. This role takes ownership of the guest experience all the way through and strives to make guests feel like the most important person in the room.
Servers are expected to have expert menu knowledge, strong wine service skills, communicate effectively with the kitchen and service team, and follow all service, food safety, and cash-handling procedures. This position requires professionalism, multitasking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining hospitality and attention to detail. This role is ideal for guest-focused individuals who take pride in delivering excellent service, building rapport with guests, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented restaurant environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm, genuine hospitality and take care of our guests.
- Learn our guests and practice recognition of our regular guests and VIPs
- Present menus, answer questions, and make knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations to guests.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring correct presentation following the store’s sequence of service.
- Monitor guest tables and anticipate needs throughout the dining experience
- Serve as a frontline ambassador for the wine program, offering informed recommendations by the glass and bottle while understanding guest intent and occasion.
- Confidently guide guests through the wine list, articulating style, region, producer philosophy, and ideal food pairings in an approachable, conversational manner.
- Execute proper wine service standards including glassware selection, bottle presentation, opening, and pacing of pours to enhance the guest experience.
- Support wine program integrity by maintaining menu knowledge, communicating 86’d items, and reinforcing storage and handling standards on the floor.
- Maintain proper wine storage, rotation, preservation systems, and cleanliness of the wine service areas to ensure quality and consistency.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions responsibly
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and communicate all issues to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant and service areas
- Complete opening and closing duties, including side work and restocking
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a positive, guest-focused attitude
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Be 21 years of age.
- Must have daytime Monday-Friday Availability.
- At least 2-3 year experience in upscale or fine dining.
- Have strong knowledge and passion for wine
- Must have exceptional grooming habits.
- Great communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with guests and peers
- Able to stay calm and problem-solve in a busy environment.
- Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Excellent multi-tasking and attention to detail
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Able to lift 50 lbs
