Preschool Dance Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and reliable Preschool Dance Instructor to add to our teaching roster for our Fall 2026-2027 Session . We're seeking an Instructor for Saturday mornings that is well versed and knowledgable in a variety of styles. Someone that is comfortable being around a fast paced environment and is able to have a creative mind to teach and engage the littles.

Responsibilities

• Lead teach back to back classes that are fun and engaging, while incorporating the foundations of dance in a safe space.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive, safe learning environment for all children.
• Experienced to lead potentially large classes while still fostering growth and progress for dancers.
• Comfortable teaching as young as 18mo. all the way to 5yrs

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of experience teaching preschool age dancers (18mo.-5yrs)
• Knowledgeable in a variety of styles: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Beg. Hip Hop, Lyrical, Poms, Tumbling/Acro, Music (potential to add to schedule if instructor is knowledgeable)
• Lesson Plans: Ability to plan lessons that are engaging, educational, and aligned with developmental milestones, have free creative freedom
• Professionalism: Able to communicate to parents in an efficient and professional way and able to be self sufficient to run classes in an engaging manner. Punctual, dependable, time-management skills

Schedule

• Saturdays: 9 AM- 12:30 PM
• Starting: End of August (2026-2027 session year), potential for summer hours depending on enrollment
• Current Schedule: You & Me Dance, Toddler Fairytale Ballet, Ballet/Hip Hop, Ballet/Tap (potential to change or add different classes depending on demand)
