The Sales Associate, Clinical Solutions is part of our Sales organization covering AMR and can work remotely. This role is designed for individuals looking to start a career in sales within the life sciences industry. The Sales Associate will focus on generating leads, qualifying prospects, and supporting the Clinical Solutions Sales Specialists order coordination and general sales support.
This position reports directly to the Sales Director, Clinical Solutions. The role may require in-person presence at customer sites, university, and industry events to maximize visibility and engagement. This role offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in scientific sales while building strong relationships in the Next Generation Sequencing research community.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Generate and qualify leads for Clinical Solutions NGS portfolio across AMR through proactive outreach and engagement with scientists and decision-makers.

Represent the company on-site by hosting information tables in university lobbies or corporate campuses, answering questions, and showcasing our solutions to generate qualified leads.

Collaborate closely with Clinical Solutions Sales Specialists to ensure alignment on regional strategies, smooth handoff of qualified opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experiences, assist in creating sales quotes, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with customer service and planning teams to ensure timely resolution of cases and seamless order fulfillment.

Develop product knowledge and learn consultative selling techniques to uncover customer needs and position appropriate solutions.

Build proficiency in CRM tools to manage leads, track outreach activities, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
The essential requirements of the job include:
-
Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience in a Life Science related discipline or related field required OR Business degree with relevant life science industry experience OR Master's degree in a life science field

Previous customer facing experience required preferably in the Life Science market.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport in person

Familiarity with molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, CRISPR, NGS) preferred.

Valid Drivers License
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Laboratory experience in molecular biology or related fields.

Previous customer-facing experience (internships, academic collaborations, or similar).
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Role will require 20% travel and quarterly customer visits.

This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home. The annual salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. This job is also eligible for commission, and the total compensation target is $90,000 - 110,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
