Production Team Lead (Hiring Immediately)

IRSG, a division of Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, Inc., is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible individual to fill the role of Team Lead in the Production/Assembly department. This role supports the production line process by providing hands-on daily direction and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Reports to: Production Manager

Location: IRSG, Itasca IL

Department: Operations

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30PM Monday – Friday (Potential for overtime, some Saturdays)

Responsibilities:

• Supports the production line process by providing “hands on” daily direction and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Maintains high quality control standards in the production process.
• Measures and tracks process efficiencies, supports the Production Manager with improvements and standardization activities
• Provides support to other departments such as shipping, receiving and warehouse.

Problem solves production concerns and appropriately escalates employee concerns to management.

• Trains employees to the expectations regarding the correct processes, procedures, quality standards, and throughput.

Maintains professionalism in all verbal and written communications and high level of integrity and work ethic.

• Works alongside the team using hand tools and small power tools to assemble and package product.

Maintains compliance with all regulatory, safety and company policies and procedures.

• Contributes to a positive work environment, providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

• Ability to professionally and effectively communicate verbally and in writing, bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Ability to read and accurately interpret customer work orders, processes, procedures and work instructions.Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Previous experience in assembling and/or welding is preferred.
