We’re looking for a Recertification Specialist (RS) to join our team and oversee all aspects of the recertification process for up to four properties in the region, including Autumn Ridge, Villagebrook, 1212 Larkin, and Wildwood Trace.

As the Recertification Specialist , you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with affordable housing guidelines by managing annual and interim recertifications, processing resident documentation, and maintaining accurate files and records. You’ll work directly with residents to explain program requirements, verify income, determine rent, and ensure a smooth and supportive recertification process. You may also assist with rent collection, lease enforcement, and communications, playing an important role in maintaining positive resident relationships and operational efficiency.

This position reports to the Community Manager and/or General Manager and collaborates closely with on-site teams to meet regulatory deadlines and quality standards.

We’re looking for someone with a high school diploma (or equivalent), a strong sense of initiative, and a commitment to high-quality service. Experience with affordable housing programs and tax credit compliance are required and certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire. You should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation are also required.

The salary range for this role is $45,000 – $52,000 , based on experience.
