Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Clinical Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, military medic with recent clinical experience, or higher

Minimum Experience Required:
• 1-2 years of work experience in a clinical or research environment, or in a patient care setting; and
• 1-2 years of work experience in a role with phlebotomy responsibilities

Major Job Responsibilities:
• Review protocols and comply with study-specific activities
• Communicates in an appropriate and professional manner with study subjects and unit personnel.
• Maintain accurate and complete source data.
• Perform study protocol related activities, i.e. phlebotomy, sample processing, ECG collection, vital signs, height/weight, etc., as assigned.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality of study subjects throughout the study.
• Understands and complies with SOPs, FDA regulations, and basic GCP requirements.

Hello - We will need a backfill for this position. I will distribute a new posting on Monday - ABBVJP00030845. There is no guarantee of hours. Some weeks may have no shifts whereas others may have 4 or 5. Schedule comes out every 2 weeks. This is the daytime 7-11 weekdays with one Saturday a month

Location: 480 S. US Highway 45 Grayslake, IL 60030- will do initial paperwork at main campus location and then training and on is at this location

Shift:
First 4-6 weeks of training: first shift 7:00 am -3:00 pm
After training: 7:00 am- noon is the main need for scheduling, but they will need availability up until 8 pm (occasionally) and weekend day shift availability (very infrequently- "once in a blue moon")
They get their schedule 2 weeks at a time, the Friday before the two weeks (so one week ahead of time), they can give specific time off ahead of time if needed, so there is some flexibility if needed, shifts are always scheduled in advance, will never be needed at the drop of a hat
They won't be working 40 hours every week, but will be working pretty close to that (will be needed for shifts most weeks, unlike original note stated, they will be working pretty much every week)

Top Skills:
Medical assistance, military/EMT medic background
draw blood, process blood, ship blood
ECGs, vital signs, must be able to work independently (but will never be working alone)
clinical medical assistant certification is a plus, or EMT/paramedic/military medic etc
