About the Role

As a Senior Market Development Executive with Insight, you’ll be the catalyst for identifying new opportunities within our existing client base. We’ll count on you to introduce customized data solutions to approximately 20 large enterprise clients across a spectrum of industries. You’ll manage the sales process from the initial contact, through negotiation, to the final close. Along the way, you’ll leverage Insight’s unique services expertise to provide everything our clients need to progress in one place: a creative vision, executional capabilities, and ongoing solutions management.

What We are Looking For

We’re seeking experienced technical and sales executives with a track record of strategizing & operationalizing technology solutions to solve critical business problems. You should also have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field and experience driving tech sales.

We’re looking for a solutions sales specialist with:

  • Deep Technical Expertise – Your success in this role depends on your ability to help C-Suite & VP leaders understand where their data and AI security sit within the cloud. Your knowledge of analytics solutions and services allows you to roadmap ideas and turn challenges into opportunities.

  • Growth Mindset – Your experience leading large digital transformations as a cloud services principal or consulting services specialist gives you an eye for whitespace within existing accounts. You see new opportunities for specialty solutions and services, execute technical account growth strategy in partnership with services delivery, and drive efficiency through automation and analytics.

  • Client Engagement Skills – You share our goal to make meaningful connections each day that positively impact the lives of the people we serve, including our clients, partners, and teammates. You build strong customer relationships with executive-level decision-makers around their data, providing trusted advisory services to assist them achieving their analytic business objectives.

Salary Range - $250,000 - $300,000 annually | Base and commission are split 50/50 and commission is based on prior quota attainment history.

Internal teammate application guidelines:

  • Meet the minimum qualifications and requirements of the position;
  • Have completed minimum service time in current role based on department (ranges from 6 months to 2 years) and have current manager approval.
    • For Account Executives, must be in role for at least 2 years and be a Level 2
    • For Client Fulfillment Center, must be in role for at least 6 months
    • Unless noted above, must be in role for at least 12 months
  • Not be under a disciplinary evaluation or suspension period;
  • Have satisfactory performance in their current position;
  • Have their current manager/supervisor recommendation
