Quality Control Technician
Job Responsibilities
Utilize gauging, CMM, or other technical equipment to complete first article, in-process, incoming, and final inspections.
Initiate NCM’s and CAR’s, following through to resolution.
Identify and resolve inspection and quality-related concerns.
Document and maintain inspection, calibration, and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) results.
Experience and Qualifications
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) designation beneficial.
Minimum High School Diploma, post-secondary or trade schooling beneficial.
3-5 years of prior manufacturing experience minimum.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge in interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experienced in surface-plate inspection techniques or Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
Experienced in calibration techniques and standards.
