Home Run Inn Pizza is looking for a reliable and friendly teammate to join the the Front of the House Team for a cashier/host opening!

Position Summary:

The Host is the first point of contact for guests and plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. This role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, seating tables efficiently, and ensuring smooth communication between the front-of-house and kitchen teams.As a cashier, you will answer phone calls, take online orders, and check take out customers out using the register

Schedule: 4pm-close 2-3 shifts/week. (Friday-Sunday availability required along with some weekdays.)

Must be free to work 1 opening shift during the weekdays as well. (10:30am-4:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests, ask seating preference and usher to appropriate table.

• Review current guest seating assignments and seat new guests according to availability and equity of assignment in each station.

• Promote upcoming and current specials/events and distribute menus to guests while seating them.

• Distribute special children premiums such as coloring books and balloons

• Assist guests with special requests or needs.

• Ensure menus are clean and contain appropriate panels and information.

• Monitor guest waiting list.

• Responsible for daily cleaning checklists.

• Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the front entrance, work area, games arena, display cases and the bathrooms.

• Assist wait staff, food runners and bus persons in duties as requested.

• Use POS System, calculator, phone and common cleaning supplies.

• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• An ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Constantly be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.

• Ability to stand for extended periods. (up to 5 hours).

• Have working knowledge of the predominant language of our guests.

• You must obtain Food Handler certification within 30 days of being hired.

• Safety Shoes required.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
