Event Marketing and Sales Assistant

Whole Team Innovations is hiring an Event Marketing and Sales Assistant to support our marketing campaigns, customer outreach, and brand promotion efforts in the Chicago, IL area.

This is an entry-level, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys working with people, communicating face-to-face, and learning practical skills in marketing, sales, events, customer service, and client relations.

In this position, you will help represent client products and services at live promotional events, local outreach campaigns, and assigned marketing locations. You will receive hands-on training and work closely with team members and leadership to support campaign goals, customer engagement, and brand awareness. Prior experience in marketing or sales is not required. We are looking for candidates who are reliable, professional, coachable, and ready to grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist with in-person marketing events, promotional campaigns, and customer outreach activities
• Represent client products and services in a professional and positive manner
• Speak with customers face-to-face to answer questions and provide campaign information
• Support customer acquisition and sales goals by identifying needs and presenting appropriate solutions
• Help with event setup, organization, materials, and breakdown
• Work with team members to meet daily and weekly campaign objectives
• Track customer feedback, event activity, and basic performance results
• Participate in paid training, team meetings, and skill-development sessions
• Build product knowledge to communicate client offerings clearly and accurately
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude during customer interactions
• Contribute ideas that improve event flow, customer engagement, and campaign performance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Self-motivated and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable standing, moving, and assisting with event setup during assigned shifts
• Reliable transportation for commuting to the Chicago office, event locations, and campaign sites
• Availability to work full-time based on event and campaign needs
