Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead teams or individuals using influence techniques to support clients' needs.

• Coordinate project activities across multi-functional and cross-geographical teams.

• Mentor others by providing guidance and technical expertise.

• Demonstrate technical and professional competencies on medium to high profile projects.

• Prepare project scope definitions and cost estimates.

• Break technical projects into fundamental tasks and manage goals, tasks, and schedules.

• Obtain resources, communicate direction, assign tasks, and ensure commitments are met.

• Work with internal and external resources to complete projects.

• Monitor project progress, anticipate problems, and develop solutions.

• Prepare reports or financial justifications for management.

• Develop process concepts and alternatives and prepare financial justifications.

• Lead or coordinate design and testing of pilot processes for proof of concept.

• Create process specifications and other documentation for process introductions.

• Foster vendor partner relationships for equipment procurement.

• Complete process development and testing using systematic processes.

• Introduce new, validated processes for NPD, R&D, and Operations.

• Provide technical support for NPD, R&D, and Operations in part design for manufacturability.

• Employ technical competence to deliver business results.

• Understand accounting principles and evaluate alternatives for technical direction.

• Create molding concepts, original mold designs, and integrate total molding systems.

• Create detailed quotes for new production equipment.

• Identify mold-related defects/issues and provide solutions.

• Understand injection molding systems and apply knowledge in process development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mundelein, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
