Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead and elevate maintenance operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. Role Overview
60–75% hands-on maintenance; 25–40% supervision, planning, and coordination
70% mechanical / 30% electrical focus
Lead maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
Support CapEx planning, vendor management, and facility systems
Key Responsibilities
Direct and assign work to maintenance technicians (4–5 direct reports)
Maintain readiness across three facilities
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs as needed
Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs
Manage CMMS (MaintainX) including PMs, inventory, and work orders
Establish and enforce LOTO procedures
Manage vendors and outsourced services
Support CapEx planning and equipment evaluations
Oversee facility systems including fire and burglar alarms
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience (industrial environment)
2+ years of supervisory experience with strong planning and scheduling skills
Strong mechanical troubleshooting expertise
Electrical troubleshooting up to 480V; basic PLC knowledge
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, and motors
CMMS experience (MaintainX preferred)
Facilities maintenance experience
Capital expense planning experience
Strong project management, communication, and follow-up skills
Advanced computer skills; Excel required
Knowledge of OSHA and applicable regulations
High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated job stability and longevity
Nice to Have
Bilingual English/Spanish
Experience with cutting equipment, welders, robots, coating/painting, or packaging machinery
Tooling experience
Technical certifications or formal training
