Shift Manager
ERIS BREWERY AND CIDER HOUSE
Position: Supervisor Hybrid , and Server
Hours: 2 Shifts per week superviso r , 3server shifts (35 -39 hours)
Hourly rate: $18-20 per hour supervisor
Floor Management:
- Regular running of FOH restaurant operations
- Creation of floor plans/assigning server sections
- Calling off/calling in/cutting of FOH staff
- Preparing menus for service
- Pre-shifting all staff before service
- Working with Host stand to ensure all reservations and events are able to be seated in a timely manner
- Ensuring successful execution of all Private Events and Weekly Events
- Working behind bar when needed
- Bussing tables when needed
- Running kitchen expo when needed
- Working with Host Stand when needed
- Management of Toast POS and 86’ing items, adding new items on square space .
- Scanning and entry of invoices into computer
- Ensuring all FOH SOPs, checklists, and cleaning routines are properly followed and executed by staff
- C hecking out dish pit , (On occasion) BOH line.
- Locking up and checking restaurant before EON
Office Work:
- Regular writing of notes and important communications in the Daily Comm
- General good practice in following of SOPs in regard to file computer storage/naming
- Proper use and checking/troubleshooting of Tip Tracker, Deposit Count Sheet, and Petty Cash Count Sheet
- Creation and maintenance of menus (Liquids, Specials, Happy Hours , etc.)
- Responding to donations requests and getting them ready for pick up.
Training:
- Passing all necessary info about New Hires on to Full Time Management
- Entering new hires into POS
- Instructing new hires on filling out paperwork , receiving proper ids for n ew h ire documents and properly filing all New Hire paperwork .
- Supervise proper training in all FOH positions, following training guides and knowledge of ERIS menus, building and stories.
HR & Related:
- Reporting infraction to upper management and witnessing of write-ups and disciplinary forms
- Recording ALL employee injuries at work on incident report form
- Recording any relevant occurrences with employees or guests on incident report form

Our manufacturing facility and brewpub are housed in the same building, which was originally a Masonic temple.
