National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 27 years of industry experience and we are now seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to support our operations across multiple departments in our client’s facility located in Des Plaines, IL 60018 .

• Pot Washers
• Kitchen Helpers
• Food Packers
• Silverware Packers
• Janitors
• Warehouse Helpers
• Uniform Room Attendants

Hourly Pay Rate For All Positions:

• $17.00/hour (Biweekly Pay)

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary by role and include:

• Wash, sort, and maintain industrial kitchen equipment.
• Pack and assemble food items according to production orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facility areas.
• Assist kitchen staff by following recipes and preparation guidelines.
• Polish and assemble cutlery, napkins, and linens.
• Pack utensils to meet client specifications.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety standards.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production timelines.
• Receive and verify deliveries against invoices and orders.
• Communicate material shortages, excess inventory, or discrepancies.
• Distribute and track employee uniforms as needed.
• Conduct weekly uniform inventory and report updates to HR.

Work Schedule:

• Days: Monday – Sunday (2 days off during the week; weekends required)
• Shifts by Role:
• Warehouse Helpers: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Kitchen Helpers / Food Packers / Silverware Packers: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Pot Washers: 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
• Uniform Room Attendants: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Janitors: 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
• Slip-resistant shoes required for safety
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift as required by the role
• Availability to start working asap preferred

Preferred (by role):

• Custodial experience (Janitors)
• Warehouse experience (Warehouse Helpers)
