Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract
• Location: Lake Forest, IL 60045 (Chicago area healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Interventional Services – Cath Lab
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2750 - $2820
• On Call: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Meal Break: 30 minutes

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct Interventional Radiology RN and Cath Lab nursing experience
• Active Illinois RN license required (must be obtained before start date)
• BSN required for this healthcare facility
• BLS certification through AHA (ACLS and PALS preferred)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical exemptions only for COVID-19)
• Must provide nursing license, skills checklist, and two recent references (one from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge RN within the past year)
• Ability to complete all compliance requirements, including fingerprinting if applicable

IR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab units
• Assist with IR and Cath Lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to facility protocols
• Float between units within the health system as required
