Del Galdo Law Group, LLC is a mid-sized firm that specializes in representing public entities such as municipalities, park districts, libraries, and schools. The firm is seeking a transactional attorney with 2-5 years’ experience in drafting and reviewing documents, as well as advising clients, on a wide variety of matters. The Transactional Attorney will be responsible for:
- Revising and drafting ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds, leases and other documents for units of government;
- Performing legal research and preparing opinions on issues that arise under statutes such as the Freedom of Information Act, the Open Meetings Act, and the Illinois Municipal Code;
- Staffing meetings of governing boards and commissions of units of governments.
Additional consideration will be given for real estate and securities experience.
Must be currently licensed to practice law in Illinois.
