Job Title: Remote Benefit Specialist
Location: Remote (U.S. Based – Central Time Zone Hours)
Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM CT

• Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM CT

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Benefit Specialist to join their growing healthcare support team. In this role, you will assist patients by verifying eligibility, updating provider records, and directing inquiries to appropriate departments. This is a fully remote position and offers the opportunity to work with one of the leading names in healthcare administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide members with listings of contracted Primary Care Physicians and/or Specialists

• Confirm eligibility and benefits coverage for members

• Update member records, including Primary Care Physician assignments

• Clearly communicate and escalate inquiries that fall outside your access or responsibilities

• Redirect callers to the appropriate support queues when necessary

• Accurately document and track all member interactions

Requirements:

• Reliable internet connection

• Experience in commercial and government insurance
• Experience quoting benefits and estimating insurance cost
• 1-3 years of experience working for a previous insurance company a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to manage multiple systems and calls in a fast-paced environment

• Typing assessment (to be completed separately via emailed instructions)
