About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required License: Valid state license required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Epic charting experience Must have the ability to assist with line insertion and intubation Must be knowledgeable in hypothermia protocols, CRRT, CVVHD, and IABP Must have experience with continuous IV sedation, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring Description: This position requires working night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. The care setting includes ICU and IMCU patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions, as well as those on ventilation and dialysis. The patient ratio is 1:2. A strong team player attitude is essential. Travelers are expected to float between units as needed. Candidates must be adaptable to meet facility needs and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Additional skills in cardiac surgery recovery and management of dysrhythmias are preferred. No on-call responsibilities will be required. This position is open to first-time travelers. A commitment to quality patient care and safety standards is expected. Candidates should be prepared to assist with special procedures as outlined in the job requirements. Compliance with all health and safety protocols is mandatory. The role emphasizes a compassionate approach to patient care and teamwork.
