Director of Nursing – Ambulatory Surgery Center

Full-Time | $100,000–$120,000/year | Monday–Friday

Serving Northwest Indiana and the greater Chicago area, our expert physicians specialize in advanced interventional treatments — including diagnostic nerve blocks, spinal injections, neuromodulation, and regenerative therapies.

The Opportunity
Help launch and lead our brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). You’ll build workflows, hire and develop staff, and establish a culture of safety and excellence.

You’ll start by training in our Interventional Pain Clinic to learn our model and mission, then transition to full ASC leadership when the center opens later this year.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture

• Direct daily ASC operations and lead clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Foster a collaborative, patient-centered, safety-focused culture.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and all regulatory standards.
• Lead Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Oversee infection control, radiation safety, and life safety programs.

Operations

• Manage scheduling, staffing, supply chain, and equipment.
• Monitor and improve satisfaction metrics for patients, staff, and physicians.
• Drive continuous improvement through data and feedback.

Training & Development

• Oversee onboarding, licensing, and continuing education.
• Conduct in-service training on safety, compliance, and ASC best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent clinical experience.
• Required: ACLS & BLS certifications.
• Preferred: ASC leadership, healthcare management, and/or Infection Prevention certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Able to lift/push up to 25 lbs and assist with patient/equipment movement.
