Trade Show Coordinator

Are you the talented Trade Show Coordinator Flexco is seeking? We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starte r to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of our trade shows and other events. This person must have the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in order to efficiently manage and execute multiple shows in varying industries. We are not just looking for someone who will check things off a list; we are looking for someone who will fully engage with our sales and marketing team members with the intent to help generate not only a buzz, but also new customer leads. This person will be part of a highly-efficient and collaborative team.

Trade show coordinators can expect to start at anywhere from $25.00 - $32.00/hour, depending on skills, experience and location.

Purpose: Perform duties to coordinate trade show and promotional program activities and provide a variety of support services for digital communications and marketing department activities.

Education Requirements:

• Associates Degree in related field required; Bachelors preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade show planning and execution.

Competency Requirements:

• Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills required.
• Proficiency with SharePoint preferred and Microsoft Office required.
• Excellent written and oral communication, as well as listening skills required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, adhere to deadlines, deliver high-quality results, and manage multiple priorities.
• Continually obtains basic knowledge of Flexco products and applies knowledge to job requests

Responsibilities:

• Lead in the documentation and coordination of a yearly global trade show plan.
• Coordinate North American trade show activities such as: securing booth space, services, and materials at the show - including sample and literature requests, artwork needs, hotel accommodations, lead retrieval and booth layout.
• Liaison with global subsidiary locations as needed to support international shows.
• Coordinate display materials and maintain SharePoint display library; coordinating offsite storage and shipments with multiple Flexco locations and Exhibit House.
• Work with internal and external vendors to maintain and upgrade display materials as needed.
• Attend trade shows as needed. Assist with setup and teardown, greet visitors, and follow up on requests. Visit competitor booths to generate ideas and share them with the team.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of promotional items and follow up on reordering additional items as needed. Research and recommend additions to program as directed.
• Coordinate major marketing events as assigned.

Travel Requirements:

• Up to 20% domestic travel
