Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications.
- Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
- Implement vision inspection systems to enhance product quality.
- Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing electrical systems.
- Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install and/or repair calibrated service or replace electronic devices and systems.
- Receive wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs; installation and electrical inspection work to be performed.
- Perform work which requires a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
- Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Utilize CAD software for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Assigned other duties.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Five (5) years plus prior experience related to electrical systems.
- Proven experience in designing and fabricating electrical systems.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis.
- Experience using CAD software for design purposes.
- Experience and hands-on knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
