Data Entry (Warehouse)

:

The Data Entry team member conducts administrative and office activities within the warehouse. This position is responsible for ensuring proper paperwork completion, performs data entry into BAAN (the customer system) and manages workflow to ensure proper routing and assignments. This position is involved in resolving count discrepancies, sorting and filing work orders and updating spreadsheets. The Data Entry team member is responsible for keeping their work area safe and clean.

Job Duties:

• Manages flow of orders to be picked.
• Performs data entry in BAAN and on spreadsheets.
• Rectifies count discrepancies
• Performs audit of paperwork completion.
• Assigns tags/orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Works efficiently to achieve or exceed performance targets for velocity, quality and cost.
• Understands and follows all ISO and 5S initiatives.
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/ skill.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred experience:Minimum of one year of experience shipping material.
• Preferred experience: Minimum one year of experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, and/ or 3PL environment.
• Basic computer skills
• Basic communication skills
• Selected candidate will be required to complete in house certification to use power industrial truck.

• Shift: 1st Shift, 7 AM - 3:30 PM
• Pay Range: $15 - $17 / hour
