Manager, Construction Project Sales

This position is accountable for the development of strategy, programs and personnel for Technical Service in support of overall strategic sales goals. This includes development and maintenance of training programs and presentation materials, as well as implementation of a strategic direction in concert with Lead 2030 strategy. Responsible for driving activities of the field Technical Service team and influencing Sales Management to ensure sustainable and profitable growth of Hilti Fastening & Protection specified products.
What You'll do
Responsibility to drive profitability across the project P&L with responsibility for resource investment and customer programs while understanding financial implications
Responsible for customer engagement strategy while identifying long term account development plans
Leads the assigned Strategic Business Developers or Project Manager team driving them towards a common goal of over proportional growth as well as owning the tailored project execution
Understands how to utilize direct resources as well as indirect resources to maximize customer share of wallet on construction projects
Strong executive presence to be able to lead complex customer discussions and navigate strategic initiatives
Brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills in order to manage complex customer opportunities by breaking it down into manageable parts in a systematic and detailed way
Cross functional responsibilities to problem solve with other Hilti stakeholders on customer specific needs/requests
Strong knowledge of Hilti processes and how to navigate the matrixed organization
Acts on behalf of Hilti within customer environment – utilizing Hilti expertise to further improve the customers solution choices
Responsible to lead project capture coordination while providing clear and consistent communication to all involved parties
Competent written and oral communication with customers and internal stakeholders
Forward-looking, motivated, collaborative team members as well as independent minded individual requiring minimal direction from Management

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Hilti experience, required
Master’s Degree, preferred
Engineering Degree, preferred
People Leadership Experience
Business Development, preferred
Ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders (e.g. HUB, MOs, customers), required
Capacity to conceptualize an idea and take it through to a tangible solution, required
Excellent communication as well as leadership skills, required
Ability to be creative & entrepreneurial
Excellent problem-solving & decision-making skills
Ability to be a team player, and a team leader

The disclosed range estimate is for this particular job posting. Please be advised that a different location may result in a different range.
At Hilti, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $104,600 - $124,000 with bonus at target of $17,287 - $25,930Why Hilti
