TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Dialysis RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60612!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical nursing experience. A minimum of 2 years of current experience in peritoneal dialysis in an outpatient setting. Prior experience in education and training patients in peritoneal dialysis within the last 3 years. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must-Have: On-call duties required. Staff will be expected to take a 12-hour on-call shift every other Sunday. Staff will also need to take a 3-hour on-call shift following their regular shift approximately 2 times per week. Floating may be required across various units. No guaranteed home units are provided. Clinicians should expect to float regularly, including assignments outside their primary specialty. Description: Minimum qualifications include 3 years of full-time clinical nursing experience. An applicant must have 2 years of current experience in peritoneal dialysis in an outpatient setting. Experience in educating and training patients in peritoneal dialysis within the last 3 years is necessary. Floating is a standard and frequent practice across facilities. Clinicians can be floated across a variety of units, including those within their specialty and occasionally to areas outside their primary competency. Refusal to float may result in cancellation of the assignment. Two professional references are required prior to starting. References must come from the most recent employers. One reference must be from the most recent employer. International candidates must obtain a Social Security Number prior to submission. All time off requests must comply with established policies. Returning resources may need to undergo full re-credentialing and re-attend orientation. Candidates must be responsive and meet submission deadlines for required items.
