Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion
• Use hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding to apply paint, stains, and finishes accurately and efficiently
• Read blueprints, schematics, and schematics to understand project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles
• Perform plastering, stucco application, drywall repair, and trim carpentry to create smooth surfaces ready for painting
• Execute renovation projects involving framing, masonry, restoration work, and fixture installation to support comprehensive home improvements
• Apply industrial or specialty paints for specific surfaces such as stucco or masonry while adhering to safety standards
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to ensure consistent coverage, clean lines, and professional finish

Requirements

• Experience in residential painting with knowledge of construction estimating preferred
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint spraying equipment preferred
• Ability to perform plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco work, and basic math calculations for measurements and estimates
• Knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate finishes and coordinating color schemes effectively
• Handyman experience or background in commercial or industrial painting is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
