Orderlies - Surgery

Department: Surgery

Shift: Full-Time, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Hospital: Resurrection Medical Center

Location: 7435 W. Talcott Ave. Chicago, IL 60631

Hospital experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties throughout the unit, as assigned. Performs a variety of other duties (clerical, transport, and messenger) in order to facilitate safe and effective patient care services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. BLS upon hire and maintain current.

2. Transportation experience preferred.

3. Safe Patient Handling Training within 30 days of hire.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.60 to $23.87. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
