Legal Secretary
Job Summary
Provides support for various divisions within the Public Defender’s office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparation of correspondence and legal documents, answering telephones, file preparation, data entry, utilizing standard office and computer equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent required. One (1) year office/clerical experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Intermediate knowledge of computer equipment and various software applications, including Microsoft Office. Must have a valid driver's license and minimum liability insurance required by law.
Salary Range
$37,500- $56, 250 Non-Exempt, Union position. benefits package offered by the County of Will, including medical, dental, vision, IMRF pension plan, life insurance and deferred compensation
