Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

The Manufacturing Associate assembles, tests, and prepares products and orders for shipment in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. This role works on a first-shift schedule, using hand and pneumatic tools, following schematics and documentation, and maintaining accurate records to ensure products meet quality standards and ship on time.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders for shipping and manufactured products in accordance with documented procedures.
• Utilize the KANBAN system to monitor and refill stocking levels as needed.
• Use hand and pneumatic assembly tools to build kits and complete assemblies safely and efficiently.
• Build and test products in accordance with documentation, ensuring work is completed in a timely manner to meet scheduled ship dates.
• Maintain accurate reporting of labor using the labor tracking system.
• Test equipment and assemblies ranging from basic components to more complex builds.
• Perform pick and pack duties in a warehouse environment, including handling parts of various sizes and types.
• Record and document test results and manufacturing discrepancies using provided forms and documentation tools.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members to support production goals and resolve issues related to assembly or testing.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the manufacturing and warehouse processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production, shipping, and warehouse operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
