Direct Service Planning Support

Project Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance student and family program curriculums that support CCAS direct service goals and objectives, this includes programs in the areas of College/Career Awareness and Readiness, Arts Integration, and/or STEM Integration
• Support recruitment of program facilitators in the areas of need
• Conduct professional development workshops for facilitators who implement CCAS direct service initiatives
• Facilitate student and family activities, as needed (including facilitating workshops, chaperoning field trips, and providing guided NEIU campus visits)
• Document student and family participation and attendance
• Collaborate with CCAS Leadership and School Site Teams to plan student and family activities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education or youth development preferred; Minimum three to five years’ work experience in education, curriculum planning, social work, or related field providing academic, social and emotional learning, and personal support to adolescents and/or adults required; Demonstrate knowledge, experience, and commitment to the needs of students, parents, and teachers in schools serving low-income and diverse populations required; Knowledge and sensitivity to a family approach of increasing student academic achievement in an urban community setting required; Experience working within a collaborative team and structure required.

Skills : Expertise using various Presentation Software; Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word; knowledge and usage of Google Drive Suite and AI software is a plus.

Compensation: $30 per hour; Maximum 900-hour project assignment.

Job Type: Part-Time/Seasonal/Temporary; Between 10-20 hours per week when schools and summer programs are in session; Remote and in-person; Flexible schedule; Travel around the Chicagoland area is required. This is a short-term position for a project between March 2026 – July 2026 with potential for extended project term.
