About the Role:
Forefront Global Logistics LLC is looking for a driven and ambitious Account Executive to join our growing team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful client relationships and play a key role in expanding our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within the logistics and freight industry
- Manage and grow an existing book of accounts through consistent communication and exceptional service
- Identify customer shipping needs and present tailored freight and logistics solutions
- Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless execution of client shipments
- Negotiate rates and contracts with clients to drive revenue and profitability
- Track sales pipeline activity and maintain accurate CRM records
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in logistics, freight, or supply chain
- Strong understanding of freight brokerage, transportation, or 3PL services is a plus
- Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and close new business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a drive to exceed goals
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
