Job Purpose:
The Material Handler will work to ensure proper packaging and movement of materials, as well as perform inventory control activities to maintain inventory accuracy.

Accountabilities:
1. Inventory

• Ensures inventory accuracy meets management expectation
• Executes picking and put-away of materials
• Executes inventory cycle counts and material reconciliations

2. Production

• Ensures packaging of finished goods is completed seamlessly to sustain production runs

3. Regulatory

• Complies with all procedures and policies concerning quality and medical device regulations

4. Administrative

• Comply with Employee Handbook, the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, and Company policies
• Perform other work-related duties and special projects as required

5. Health and Safety

• Ensures compliance with a safe work environment according to federal, state, and Northgate policies and OSHA if applicable

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and write and communicate in English
• Basic computer literacy
• Able to learn NTI warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) and obtain required certifications

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Prior experience with an ERP system
• Previous experience within an industrial environment
• Previous inventory management experience
• Experience within medical devices

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment
• Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours per day
• Noise level is moderate
• Ability to positively react to a constant changing environment, subject to priority changes and short notice activity
• Frequently lift up to 75 lbs
• Occasional overtime is required
