Position Overview
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production processes, and achieving production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role involves managing staff, optimizing production schedules, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the plant to ensure efficient production processes.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource use.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Monitor production output and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
- Lead, train, and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and supply chain, to enhance overall plant performance.
- Manage budgets and control costs to meet financial targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in plant management or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of packaging processes and copackaging operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
