Job Summary: We’re seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our growing sign manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC routers and a solid understanding of sign fabrication materials such as ACM, acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, wood, and aluminum. You’ll be responsible for cutting, routing, and shaping materials to exact specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. ADA sign experience preferred.
A successful CNC Operator in our shop is detail-oriented, reliable, and demonstrates a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and contribute to a collaborative production environment.

• Operate and maintain CNC routers to produce parts and components for signage and display projects.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and routing instructions.
• Program and prepare tooling files for various materials and applications.
• Set up machine parameters, tooling, and materials for optimal cutting performance.
• Work with a variety of substrates, including ACM (Aluminum Composite Material), Acrylic, Polycarbonate, PVC, Wood, and Aluminum.
• Perform precision cutting, drilling, engraving, and finishing processes to meet production standards.
• Utilize VCarve software for routing file creation and optimization.
• Familiarity with Easel software for toolpath creation and design integration is a plus.
• Operate CNC systems with Opti-Scout vision or cutting software (experience preferred).
• Understand and operate drag knife functions for cutting flexible materials.
• Conduct regular machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members, designers, and project leads to ensure product accuracy and deadlines are met.

• Prior experience in a sign shop or similar production environment preferred.
• Comfortable operating a CNC machine.
• Able to read and follow production orders, drawings, or templates.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Basic computer skills to complete ERP entries and upload images.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Pay Range

$25- $28 hourly - Pay range listed reflects the potential pay for this role. The pay will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Not all positions posted will have a pay range listed.
