Starting Wage: $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience

Hours of Operation:

• Sunday: 11AM - 8 PM
• Monday: CLOSED
• Tuesday - Thursday: 11AM - 8PM
• Friday - Saturday: 11AM - 10PM-ISH

St Nicholas Brewing Company, located in the heart of Du Quoin, IL, is known for our exceptional culinary experience and dedication to craft beer. We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and maintain the highest standards of kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and lead the culinary team to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
• Create and deliver an outstanding culinary experience for our guests.
• Manage daily prep lists, weekly orders, inventory updates, and food costing.
• Update prep manuals and specials log, creating daily and weekly specials.
• Organize and rotate coolers/freezer, including handling deliveries.
• Train new team members and direct the catering and execution for onsite and offsite events.
• Maintain updated employee food handlers certifications and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Execute a comprehensive cleaning schedule, expedite plates during peak hours, and manage scheduling and food waste.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a management role within the culinary field.
• A minimum of 3 years of culinary experience.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings as required.
• Basic computer skills for managing schedules, orders, and inventory.
