As the HBS Projects General Manager here at Honeywell, you will take full management responsibility for the development and growth of Honeywell Projects' businesses. You will effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders across the organization, working autonomously as a senior member of our leadership team to achieve organizational objectives. You will report directly to our President BA Americas and in this role, you will impact the growth and success of Honeywell by achieving business objectives, formulating growth strategies, driving innovation, and leading a high-performing team. This was posted on August 6, 2025. Key Responsibilities- Own the regional P&L for the HBS Projects business and deliver on top-line revenue, VCM and Operating income
- Focus on building a robust management operating system that establishes efficient processes and enhances operational productivity, cost management, and profitability.
- Support Offering Management to define branding and market penetration strategies for the region and to enhance market demand of offerings.
- Drive the Sales organization to select, pursue and win the right project work for the Honeywell business to deliver to our mission.
- Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables; developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; and managing resources effectively.
- Leading and motivating project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors, managing expectations, and addressing concerns proactively.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies; monitoring project progress and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Tracking project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implementing quality control measures and ensuring that project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
- Ensuring proper project documentation, conducting post-project reviews, and transitioning project deliverables to the client or operations team.
- 10+ years of business management, program management OR project management experience
- 5+ years of P&L accountability experience
- People leadership/management experience
- Proven track record in delivering growth and financial performance for an independent line of business
- Deep understanding of the construction process & lifecycle
- Experience with complex contract negotiations
- Experience developing long-range strategic business plans
- Experience establishing annual operating plans
- Bachelor's degree and MBA
- Strong product portfolio management skills
- Strong intellectual capacity to assimilate and analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data for making solid business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience to influence, negotiate and partner in a matrix organization and to deliver results through matrix reports.
- Extensive experience in building successful leadership teams and developing and retaining A-level talent.
