2. Manage public work construction, municipal construction, government construction, and federal construction projects.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
4. Interface with builders, contractors, architects, engineers, and city and county officials regularly.
5. Manage project budget, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
6. Coordinate with various teams to ensure the project's alignment with company goals and objectives.
7. Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines and share them with key stakeholders.
8. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
9. Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
10. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the project status.
11. Manage risks and resolve issues that affect project scope, schedule, and budget. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. 8+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the Construction industry, specifically in public work construction, municipal construction, government construction, and federal construction.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
6. Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
7. Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
8. Excellent client-facing communication skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
11. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
12. Excellent analytical skills.
13. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
