Position Summary:

As a Production Planner at JTM, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily production runs across multiple lines. You will ensure smooth workflows, timely order fulfillment, and play a key role in communication and problem-solving across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily production schedules for all production lines.
• Schedule customer orders with the appropriate week-ending date and assigned production line.
• Review order pick lists confirm dates by “ok” date and initial.
• Generate daily production reports using Microsoft Excel
• Daily Set up production runs by organizing:
• Production tickets
• Product samples, if needed
• Front-end schedule
• Fruit batches required for runs
• Address product shortages using available strategies:
• Reallocate completed orders scheduled to ship later
• Reschedule the shortages
• If unresolved, notify the Plant Manager and affected Customer(s)Service to contact the customer if needed
• Actively serve on JTM’s Recall Committee and fulfill assigned recall/mock recall duties.
• Communicate upcoming production plans during Manager’s Production Meetings.

Qualifications:

• Experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and perform under pressure.
• Effective communicator with a team-oriented attitude.
• Detail-focused with a proactive approach to planning.
