Mechanical Engineer- Arlington Heights, IL

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will spend 60-70% of your time engaging in CAD work, employing both AutoCAD and Solidworks to create designs from scratch and modify existing ones. You will work with multiple layers in AutoCAD as laid out in our manufacturing processes. The rest of your time will be dedicated to reverse engineering finished parts, creating production fixtures, and providing manufacturing support.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Design/CAD.
• 1-2 years of experience in the CAD Drafting industry preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for handling parts and complex assemblies.
• Strong passion for the automotive industry

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
