Shift: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri- 5*8- 40 hours / week

Location: Northbrook, Illinois, 60062

Pay Range: $30 - $33/ Hourly

Job Overview:
Ultrasound Technologist with 1–2 years of vascular ultrasound experience in clinical and hospital settings. Skilled in performing high-quality vascular studies, including arterial and venous duplex imaging, while ensuring accurate image acquisition and patient safety. Experienced in collaborating with physicians to support timely diagnosis and maintain compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies as ordered.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation for physician interpretation.
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality control and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support timely diagnosis and patient care.

Requirements:

• Ultrasound Technologist with 1–2 years of vascular ultrasound experience in clinical and hospital settings.
• (RVS)- Registered Vasdcular Sonographer OR (RVS)- Registered Vasdcular Technologist
• BLS Certified through AHA
• COVID card
• Must be open to travel between Northbrook & Hindsdale
• Knowledge of Venous anatomy, pathology, and reflux testing protocols.
• Proficiency in EMR

Skills

• Proficient in diagnostic sonography techniques, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology recognition
• Skilled in image optimization, Doppler studies, and equipment operation
• Excellent patient care, positioning, and communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards
