Job Description/Title:

IR/Cath Lab Tech – DAY SHIFT, 40 hours/week (staggered start times between 7a-9a **depends on procedure schedule, 4 10-hour shifts M-F)

• Pediatric to Geriatric patient population
• ON-CALL requirement for weekend rotation
• Responsible radiation safety and protection of all team members during and after a procedure
• Cross train to assist the physician to perform IR and/or Cath procedure (scrub the case); record/monitor the procedure; or circulate the procedure.
• Maintain equipment used during the procedure
• Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures
• Assist in supply management and restocking of supplies in IR/Cath labs

Location Openings:

• Evanston Hospital (Neuro experience preferred & will rotate to Evanston location)
• Highland Park Hospital (No Neuro Cases)
• Glenbrook Hospital (No Neuro Cases)

Starting Pay: $33.35/hour - $54.79 (plus additional on-call pay during required coverage)

Qualifications:

• IEMA License & ARRT Registration REQUIRED
• CPR/BLS required (ACLS within 1 year)
• New Grads & Current X-Ray Techs considered
• 1+ years of IR/Cath Lab experience preferred (Angiography Tech experience preferred)
• Certified or Associates Degree from accredited Radiology program
• Neuro & Interventional experience preferred
