Job Summary

The Customer Data Analyst role represents a Subject Matter Expert with deep understanding of Customer Master Data Domain, particularly in SAP. This role will work under the guidance and leadership of the Business Partner Data Lead to support a range of different projects within the Mars Snacking business.

Responsibilities

• Support new projects and initiatives by analyzing new Customer Data requirements against the existing Customer Master Data set, and identifying data mappings between different systems, data cleansing opportunities and drive future-state design changes for Customer Master Data.
• Maintain the documentation for the CRUD (Create, Update & Delete) data process for Customer Data, aligned to various business processes such as New Customer Introduction, Order to Cash, Record to Report etc.
• Maintain the training assets about data & process standards and work with the Customer Data Stewardship Network to drive change within segments & markets.
• Collaborate with regional Data Stewards and Data Quality teams to ensure data standards are effectively implemented and monitored.
• Work with project team and other segment leads to ensure customer governance requirements are met, and any changes to the governance process are reviewed and approved by the Customer Data Council and Business Partner data lead. The Governance standards can include Data model changes, Policies, CRUD, RACI, Workflow Processes, KPI's etc.
• Coordinate with the business team and the Mars Global Services technology team to implement the necessary technical changes and UAT/Regression testing requirements for the customer domain.
• Identify & document the link between data attributes and related business functions to allow the implementation of system supported Customer Master Data workflow solutions in market and supply units.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong experience (5 - 7 years) in Data Management & governance, based on core SAP ERP technologies (SAP ECC and S4HANA, SAP MDG), preferably with similar business context (Consumer Product Goods or Foods and Beverages)
• Subject Matter Expert in Customer Master Data Domain in SAP and strong knowledge of related Data Domains (Vendor, Intercompany)
• Good experience with Customer-related functional data processes, such as Sales and Distribution, Logistics, Retail Execution
• Good experience with using Data Governance tools, such as Collibra, and Data Quality analysis (for example, using SQL), and fluent in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel
• Fluent in spoken and written English, any additional language is an advantage
