Job Title: Automotive Cashier / Customer Service

About the Role
WE ARE seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Automotive Cashier to be the first point of contact for our service department. You'll handle a high volume of phone calls and provide outstanding customer service while accurately processing payments and closing out repair orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls on a multi-line system with a professional, helpful tone

• Greet customers, check them in/out, and provide updates or direct them to the right team member

• Process payments (cash, credit, checks), print receipts/invoices, and close repair orders

• Balance the cash drawer and perform end-of-day reconciliations with accuracy

• Schedule and confirm service appointments; maintain organized calendars

• Assist with basic administrative tasks: filing, data entry, scanning, and document management

• Deliver prompt, courteous support and resolve basic customer questions or concerns

• Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts, and Sales to keep customers informed

Qualifications

• Strong phone skills and excellent customer service skills are required

• 1+ year in a customer-facing or cashier role (automotive or retail preferred)

• Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems; basic math skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); able to learn DMS (CDK/Reynolds/Xtime)

• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented with accurate data entry

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with acceptable record; able to pass background screening

• Bilingual a plus

Schedule

• Full-time; Monday Friday with rotating Saturdays [adjust as needed]
