We are searching for a part time medical receptionist in our highly personalized private neurology and interventional mental health practice led by board-certified neurologist. We specialize in comprehensive neurological care, cognitive disorders, memory disorders, movement disorders, migraine, neuropathy, and advanced treatments for depression, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato® (esketamine).
Our practice is intentionally different from large medical systems. We provide thoughtful, unhurried, patient-centered care while maintaining a warm, supportive, and collaborative office culture. Every member of our team plays an important role in helping patients and families navigate some of the most challenging moments in their lives.

We are seeking an energetic, positive, person who is organized, dependable, and personable who will join a special team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our patients and helps ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and compassionately
- Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments
- Register new patients and update demographic information
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Obtain referrals and prior authorizations when appropriate
- Receive and route patient messages accurately
- Respond to patient questions and assist with office communications
- Coordinate appointment confirmations and reminders
- Scan, upload, and organize medical documents within the electronic medical record
- Process incoming faxes and correspondence
- Assist with front desk workflow and patient check-in/check-out
- Support physicians and clinical staff with administrative tasks
- Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient office environment
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous medical office or healthcare reception experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, compassionate, and courteous demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
- Comfortable learning electronic medical record systems
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Experience with insurance verification and medical scheduling is preferred but we are willing to train an outstanding candidate with the right attitude and aptitude.
